"Will" on its European tour

After its London run at the Rose Playhouse, Will took a journey over seas and fields to the high mountains of Switzerland to the beer halls of Germany, with just one large suitcase and a big bag of boots. We performed for high school students of the Collège des Creusets in Sion, Switzerland as well as for its Interface Theatre, and took part in the binnanual European Theatre Festival Stuttgarter Theater Treffen at the Theater tri-bühne in Germany.

In Switzerland, we enjoyed the visit of Her Majesty's Ambassador Jane Owen who "really enjoyed" the show and the "fantastic British cast". In Stuttgart, Germany our audience was "moved to tears" (Stuttgarter Zeitung) by both productions we brought to the festival.

England, 1582. The young Will Shakespeare is living in the peaceful town of Stratford-upon-Avon, in the heart of England with his newlywed wife, Anne. But something’s missing. He’s dreaming of prophecies, rough magic and words no one is able to find. As he starts following these dreams, life takes him on a journey, from under the protection of an immensely rich Lord to nights in brawl taverns with travelling actors. But Elizabethan England is not an easy place to thrive…
