We are a theatre company creating shows and workshops around the life, times and works of William Shakespeare. We are based in London and tour internationally, and are led by Artistic Director Victoria Baumgartner.

Our work is poetic, poignant and provocative.

We believe that Shakespeare is where the common emotional heritage of humanity can be experienced. And we want to bring you closer to it.

Anne

is a new monologue written by Victoria Baumgartner about William Shakespeare's wife.

It was last performed by Katherine Moran for Glass Splinters, a Pleasance Futures Scratch Night.

Workshops

Treat yourself to an Acting Shakespeare workshop! We deliver workshops for amateurs as well as professional actors on demand. Our Artistic Director Victoria Baumgartner has given workshops at the Lausanne Shakespeare Festival (Switzerland), the University of Stuttgart (Germany),  East15 Acting School (London, UK) and gives regular Drama Education classes at Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon.

"I enjoyed every moment of the day and feel like I learnt so much. I feel so inspired to continue exploring the language and bringing the embodiment of the text alive." Beth, East15 Acting School

"My students really, really enjoyed the way that the very well thought out workshop allowed them to have a completely new insight into Shakespeare’s universe and plays. We will welcome you again in a heartbeat!" Jean-Claude, High school teacher

"I was not even excited about Shakespeare, but we were guided so well through it all that it did not matter any more. Victoria's vivid approach definitely sparked the joy for Shakespeare in me and retaught us what it means when they say that a play is meant to be played." Malte, Undergraduate Literature student
