We are a theatre company creating shows and workshops around the life, times and works of William Shakespeare. We are based in London and tour internationally, and are led by Artistic Director Victoria Baumgartner.

Our work is poetic, poignant and provocative.

We believe that Shakespeare is where the common emotional heritage of humanity can be experienced. And we want to bring you closer to it.

Will at the EdFringe 2019

August, 2019

Our longest-touring play Will has been performed to ecstatic audiences and rave reviews at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This academically researched piece by writer and director Victoria Baumgartner (Offie-nominated for Best Director & Bursary for Dramatic Writing for Will) takes you on a fantastic adventure through Elizabethan England! Walk in the footsteps of a young man in search of his destiny who starts out with only a quill in his pocket. As he starts following his dreams, they will lead him through bushes and briars, taverns and palaces to meet rogues, vagabonds, lovers, friends, foes, the Queen herself, and - worst of all! - players.
